B.E.S.T. You Welcomes You…

Our Vision

To instill confidence in young girls who come from marginalized DC communities. After our mentoring, we hope to have built enough confidence in each girl so that they can advocate for themselves, go to college and change the world if that's what they aspire to do.

Our Mission

To Inspire girls of color deriving from marginalized dc communities to become positive change agents of the world, through our triple aim of sisterhood, mentorship, and confidence building. We are building a team of inspiring college students who will provide a strong support system for each individual girl.

Beautiful. Empathetic. Sisters. Together.

  • Sisterhood

Through workshops and team-building activities, we work to develop strong bonds, lasting friendships, and supportive sisters.

  • Our team believes instilling confidence in girls is more beneficial when starting at a young age. Every student deserves the chance to be confident in themselves inside and out

    Mentorship

We are especially deliberate in our efforts in ensuring mentors are paired with their respective mentees based on. common interest and overall comfortability.

Events

“I was really excited to partner with B.E.S.T. You as I wanted our girls to have access to young ladies that they could relate to who were current students themselves and looking to give back to the next generation. I have been nothing but pleased with our partnership as they have provided opportunities for our students to learn what life is like as a college student. They have also worked to establish relationships and empower our young ladies to embrace their "black girl magic." I am looking forward to B.E.S.T. You being able to guide our students in-person to equip them with the self-confidence, self-love, and realization of who they are and what they can achieve in life.”
